Why do I get this since the last IDEA upgrade? "Some roots are likely to be of unsupported Subversion format"

In the changes window, I get this popup message continually as I am working.  If I don't get it to stop, I am going to go crazy!

"Some roots are likely to be of unsupported Subversion format"

I am assuming it has something to do with the subversion repo I have but I am not sure how to fix it.  The server I am using is on subversion 1.4.2.  My svn client is 1.5.5.  Everything was working great until Monday, when I installed the lastest updates for IDEA (8.1.2 build #9852).

Can I turn off this notification?  Can I fix my local svn working copy?

Thanks,

Tony

Please invoke Subversion/ShowWorkingCopies action and view what formats are detected for your working copies. Generally, the 1.5 format should not cause the warnings.
Try to convert format for example to 1.4 and back to 1.5 from this dialog to fix possible problems.

I have the same issue. However the Subversion->Show working copies dialog is empty. No roots are visible even after refresh.
The cause seems to be a previous update of my subversion client (Tortoise SVN) which might have changed the format. I don't understand why it didn't bother IDEA before.

Actually, the Show working copies dialog was empty for me also.  I decided to re-checkout the module from svn into my project directory, and that worked.  I could see it in my working copies and then made sure it was the correct version and I never had that popup again... Until...

I decided to take the project I checked out and move it to a shared location on my hard drive.  I then did a symbolic link to the module and reloaded my project to point to the symbolic link.  Lo and behold, the annoying svn message came back, and I no longer could see it in my Show working copies.

Daniel, I am curious if you are using a symbolic link for the working copy, and if so, do you have the same experience I do?  JetBrains got back to me and said they could not reproduce the issue.

Thanks

If you're using SVN 1.6, this popup is expected behavior as IDEA 8.x doesn't
currently support SVN 1.6. Support for SVN 1.6 will be added in IDEA 8.1.3.

I have the same issue with IntelliJ 8.1.2.

The Working copies dialog remains empty. I'm quite sure that the svn server is version 1.5. I'm not running Turtoise or anything similar.
