1071 : Find word at cursor gone?

I can't find the option to use the selected word at cursor during find
in 1071 and it doesn't seem to work. Am I going mad or missing it
somewhere?

Search | Find Word at Caret (Ctrl-F3). Isn't it there?

OK yes that's there, but Find... and Replace... used to prepopulate the
"Text to find" with the selection if there was one - just checked 1050
and it does this. Now in 1071 it doesn't.

I'll file a bug...

Reproducable for me for "Replace..." but not for "Find...". Please submit a
bug request.
