Delete of a package does not work with subversion integration

Hi,

I have a project in Intellij Idea 8.1 which uses the Subversion plug-in. Whenever I delete an empty package nothing happens. I got the delete dialog box and can click on the "ok" button but the package(folder) still remains. This is very annoying when moving packages since the original empty packages remain on disk. E.g. when moving a package a.b.c to package a.x.c then a.b.c still remains on the source tree.

Is there anyone else with this problem?

Hello Tim,

It does work (and the behavior matches that of the command-line Subversion
client). The empty directory will be deleted from disk when you commit your
changes. It can't be deleted before that because the .svn directory contained
in it is required for the commit operation.

I have the same problem with CVS.

I commit the changes also, but it did not delete the package.

Packages are remaining with no classes.
