JavaFX support would be very helpful. NetBeans is just horrible.

Have you opened a feature request? I will vote for it.

Hello Michael,

JavaFX support would be very helpful. NetBeans is just horrible.

Are you actually using JavaFX in a real project, or are you just interested
in playing with it?

We are reluctant to invest in supporting a technology which has very unclear
perspectives on the market (and yes, the current quality of the NetBeans
support for JavaFX is one more thing that makes the perspectives even more
unclear).

I can't really use it for production development until I play with it for a while:-) I have writte a small dashboard type widget with it but I am not yet using JavaFX in production.

So far I am really liking what I am seeing. The only drawback is that it is painful to use netbeans. (no vi, no auto-format, completions suck).

I am also using it in an evaluation phase.. I really like what i see, it would be very helpful to see support
in IDEA soon. Sun put some effort in this, maybe they hadn't time to make the netbeans plugin perfect..

In my opinion JavaFX (and rich client applications) will become more and more important...
