996 - Flicker...

For some reason when ever I hit enter, I see a flicker of something on the
right hand side of the IDE, as thou something is really quickly showing
then hiding.

when I editing a JSP it does it nonstop on each

In Java classes, I also see a flickering on the right side.
In fact, I have a dual monitor setup, and it happens on the second screen.
Especially, I happens in the part of the editor which is beyond my screen
width (1024 pixels).
But I also had other issues with dual displays, on the second (right-hand)
display, sometimes the scrollbar disappears, or the right part of the editor
doesn't refresh.

When entering new lines, my right half of the editor window flickers - very annoying.

Can we have a workaround or a patch for that? It's really annoying and I like 966 otherwise.

I'm afraid there's no workaround. Sorry.

"kind of " a workaround:
put a really long comment at the top of the document (the line should be wider than the window).

A better workaround is appreciated since the flicker is definetely awful.

Can you please release a new build with this fix, it gets really annoying.

I think hotfixing is realy needed feature... we already discuss it:
http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=20476

BTW, we need such patching since 992 in Open API (see VirtualFile issues)

Thanks!
