IntelliJ should give free (IDEA 4.0) licence to some of us

Hi All

we are all doing QA work for IntelliJ ;) right?

Don't you think IntelliJ should at least give free (IDEA 4.0) license to some of us (may be top 10 or top 5) who filed mjor bugs and nice enhancement requests etc., as a new year gift.

And :) guess what, one for me also for suggesting this ;)

(I don't know whether similar topic exists or not)

They did last year.... so my guess they may do it again this year.

IntelliJ needs to make money to stay in business, so I personally would just settle for a discount :)

I think the best reward is the ability to use the new features before the official release and to be able to see some of my own suggestions integrated that will save a lot of my every day work !

so it's a win-win situation...

Thank you Intellij

I agree with Frank. Be thankful Idea (and EAP exists) and that you might have helped. I don't think they are making a fortune here, if they where it might be a different story.

In point of fact, they did just that last year when 3.0 came out. I
know of at least one person who got one for perservering with it on the
Mac when both Idea and 1.4.x were very young and immature.
