Questions about local datasources

Dan Allen and I are running into a couple of hurdles getting seam-gen to create an IntelliJ project that hits the ground running. We need to now how to encode a password for the datasource and we also need to know if there is a specific format for the UUID that needs to be followed. Once we have those couple of problems solved we should be pretty much good to go. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Thanks for the great release of IntelliJ 8! Would it be possible to talk about this problem Dan and I are facing?

Looks like I'm being ignored.  Would it be possible to contact me off list perhaps?

Hello Jason,

Looks like I'm being ignored. Would it be possible to contact me off
list perhaps?

Sorry for not answering you earlier. The developer responsible for this functionality
is currently on vacation - he'll be able to answer you next week.

I think I can answer at least part of the question:
com.intellij.openapi.util.PasswordUtil.encodePassword(String)

I'll see if I can figure out the UUID part, too...

Ups, the moment I posted I understood that you probably cannot use the open api in seam-gen.
I'll send you an e-mail.

... if I knew you address. The old forum used to have a profile page for each participant. I also haven't found any contact details on seamframework.org or anywhere else.

Gee, I usually don't talk to myself that much.
Found your profile - I expected a link to your profile in "in response to: Jason Porter", but in the new forum you have to click on the icon on the left of each message.

I did, just wondering if that was the "official" answer from IDEA
