IDEA 8.0.1 slow startup

Hello everyone!

I have just recently started to use IntelliJ IDEA. I have imported a former Eclipse project. The problem is that I notice slow startup time when I open the IDE. The editor starts scanning some files and this operation is blocking. Is there any possiblity to transform this operation into a non-blocking one?
