Maven archetype project causes compiler errors

Hi,

within my maven multimodule project I have a maven archetype project. Each time I reimport the maven projects into IDEA (8.0.1), this archetype project causes compile errors since it is no 'real' project but an archetype. The only solution for me is to remove that project from IDEA's modules. But this lasts only until I reimport the maven projects again, then it reappears and I have to remove it again. Is there any solution for this problem, e.g. can I tell IDEA not to import that certain project, even if it is a module of the maven root project? Is there any other solution 'surviving' a maven reimport?

Regards,
Martin
