If IntelliJ IDEA 8 is scrolling slow in your Linux ... Follow

I'm not sure if this tip has been posted before, but I found that changing "AccelMethod" of the intel X11 driver from "EXA" to "XAA" fixed my problem.  For more information, check my blog post.
