Compilation from the Package Tab is disabled

Compilation from the Package Tab is disabled i.e. click on package, right click select compile (CtrlShiftF9), it is only enabled in the Project Tab.

There are many things disabled from the package view. Not sure why.

Maybe because IDEA is unsure, in what directory files should be
created or what directories to path to the compiler.

It can prompt on file creation or moving, can’t it? But at least there is nothing that should stop it from compiling.
