977: Other observations about this build.

I realize this release is still a work in progress, but here are some observations I'd like to point out:

1. Shouldn't the dialog for 'Configure Project' dialog be contained within the project properties dialog? It seems odd to have it in a standalone dialog.

2. The UI in the new dialog for 'Configure Project' shows a lot of promise, but the redish-white module borders on a white background makes it difficult to read. However, I like the graphics and it shows a lot of promise. I hope to see more of the dialogs follow this UI design.

3. All of the settings dialogs and properties dialogs are coming up very large and when I resize them, they do not keep these size settings the next time I view them.

4. This is VERY minor, but just in case you hadn't notice, on the completion tab in the IDE Settings dialog, the Lookup List- Autopopup check box is misspelled (it reads Autopopap).

Just wanted to point those out.

Keep up the good work!

We decided that it's quite different from "Options". We plan to rename
Project Properties to Project Settings and move to the current "Options"
menu (which will probably be named "Configure").

Do you mean IDE settings, Project properties or or some other dialogs as
well. What is you OS?

Thanks, fixed.

I filed bugs for some of those. It's in project properties when you
switch to code styles and the one below (above?). Additionally, the
dialog asking for confirmation to delete a file is to small on Mac OS X
(I believe I filed a bug for that, too but don't know about its state
anymore).

Another thing: In the (cool looking) modules dialog in the paths tab:
could you make the left hand side a little darker? It's all white in
white on OS X. Maybe you can even adopt the color of the new bevel boxes
from Panther (mail me if you need a screenshot ;)

I generally don't like links as UI elements but I think you put it to
good use in the modules GUI. But it's not consistent with all the rest
of the GUI now. Where I do not agree with your decission to use links is
"Add module" and "Remove module".

Yes, when I said the dialogs were coming up very large, I was referring to the IDE Settings and Project Properties. My OS is Windows XP.

As for irritating behavior of 'Project properties' window ,an SCR (about resizing problem) has been already filed as #20136. Just FYI.
