If I click on a directory, I can do a find usages for that package. That is
somewhat helpful but not at all for JSPs.
What would be nice is to be able to click on a file (in my case I was trying
this with JSPs) and find all usages of that JSP. Right clicking on the name
of the JSP in the Project Structure doesn't allow this option. I have to
resort to using the Find in Path and typing in the name of the JSP. I have
a situation where a directory has 20 JSPs in it. I have to do this Find in
Path routine 20 times. Wouldn't it be great to highlight all JSPs in the
directory (using Ctrl-click or Shift-click) or even a subset (ie. 5 JSPs)
and do a Find Usages and have the usages reported in the Find results
window, broken down by file and the usages for that file?
Most of this is ready to go. I can select all or a subset of files in a
directory. And I have a Find in Path option available on a right-click.
But it will ignore what I just selected and ask me what do I want to find in
path. Right now, this would have been a great time saver.
