944 not working on OS X 10.2.8 (6R73)

I'm trying to use the 944 EAP build on OS X 10.2.8 (build 6R73), with virtually no success. The program launches, asks me for my license key, and, when I enter the EAP name and key and hit "OK", throws an exception:

Is this a known issue? I searched for "OS X" under the EAP forums to no avail, so I'm assuming I'm alone on this.

it's not an OS X specific problem. See License issues in the forum.
