Configuring Database using JNDI with Tomcat for Servlets

I have been trying to configure my existing servlets & jsps to build on IntelliJ (Windows). But, its not able to resolve the JNDI mappings for Database urls.

Also, noticed that the application when run, creates deployment folder separately under the user_home/.IntelliJ folders. The server.xml created here is always the system default. There was no option to create/edit server.xml.

Please do guide me in configuring servlets & jsps, so that I can debug them from within the IDE.
