Cannot start build 939 Follow

I don't know if I'm having the same problem (mainly because I'm an IDEA rookie), but I downloaded 939 for OS X, installed it - and when I click on the app icon, it opens, prompts me for a key - and then does nothing. Just hangs.

Same with me on xp.

I had the same problem, since I chose not to import the setting of the
previous installation. Just copy the license file from the system
directory of an older installation (hopefully you have one :) to get past this step.

I dont have a previous installation so cannot see older license files. Would you please provide me an info about that file. Probaly some textfile somewhere under the "\.IntelliJIdea" folder.

yes, it's in either in:
idea_install\system or
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER_NAME\.IntelliJIdea\system

folder. It depends where you choose to store your settings/chache files
File itself is called :
idea.licence and yes, copying it fixed my startup issue ;)
