915 Good work

Man, I've been on 915 for the last 4 hours, and except for CVS errors I
expected to happen, things have been very smooth!

how huge a difference can a release make! way to go JetBrainers.

I was a bit sad not to be able to use the two previous builds, because of
those nasty infinite loops of internal errors when I was typing... but now,
I'm so glad to play with 915.
Nice work, JetBrains, nice work !

Yep, so far .. so good ... :)

So far for me, I can't use it at all. I keep getting assertion dialogs
(which I can't send in - still doesn't work). I'm rebuilding my caches now.
Hopefully, that helps....

I know it might be dangerous but I removed the DialogAppender from the log.xml and gone are the nasty infernal error dialogs. At least you can type and don't have to insert ESC at every character ;)

Use at your own risk

I removed both JARs from the Generics directory. I also removed all my
plugins. I still can't use 915. This time, the assert is:

I cannot get get my settings to stick. Every restart has the default settings. Plus when I control space after a jsp directive, it farts and like everyone else, I cannot send the report.

Please look at http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=15606
The workaround is to save a named code style scheme rather than changing
default one.

Both are know bugs, Rick. JSP code completion is flaky in the latest build and you better not rely on it.

About IDEA forgetting your settings, you just need to save your code style as a named profile, this has been thankfully fixed for the next build -- meanwhile, the workaround is to save your code style in a named prefile (use the "save as..." button) instead of just saving the defaults.
