I use Lucida Typewriter with antialiasing on. I think any font other than the one you're using (along with antialasing) would look better. But maybe I'm just weird. :)
Oh, it's not actually a true monospaced font because the bold character sizes are a little wider. This messes up IDEA's margin calculation, but I never use bold text in code so it doesn't bother me.
Hmm... try again

are you saying it doesn't rule?
this is actually a pretty old thing, search the forums to see the additional information about it
Oh, sh*t....
IDEA rulez big time!!!
What I meant was that Alex should try to attach the image again as there is
no image in his post.

It's not included in the news post. Probably some problem with the gateway.

How can you see your own code with that font?? ;)
Which one you suggest me to use?
Why do you think that one you use is better?

I like ProFont. It really only looks good at 9 point, but it's the best I've found for coding.
Find it at:

For one guy's arguments why it's such a great programming font, see the "What's great about ProFont?" section at http://www.tobias-jung.de/seekingprofont/seeking.html

And just to provide an alternative opinion... I use Courier New, without
anti-aliasing, size 12.
