Access to a Build Archive

Hi all,
(related to "testing builds" and "build unusable" threads)

Given the spate of, would it be possible to have an archive (linked off the
eap download page) of past EAPs?

It has struck me that people who are new to the EAP system wont have a line
of downloaded builds to "fall back" onto as it is so often suggested if a
build doesnt work. I know this will hardly quash people whinging when really
they should be filling a load of bug reports (not without checking for
duplicates first, mind you) ... but it may go towards helping people fall
back.

Sorry ... I did search, but was using the wrong terminology - as it never
came up. Thanks for the info :)

Hi,

But as far as I can see the state is set to "do not fix". Does that mean
that there will not be a page with links to older versions or what ?
Even though I know that you can just change the url to for instance:
http://www.intellij.net/eap/products/idea/redirect.jsp?filename=idea896.zip
to get earlier versions I do think it would be a good idea with direct links
as Dan Hardiker propose.

Yes, you're right. Links to old build has been removed.
Only I can do is open this request again with "To be discussed" status,
sorry.
