I just started using Idea (build #7590) yesterday and I already have a problem. When I try to run a basic web project that needs to be deployed to Tomcat, the context.xml file that I want deployed does not get recognized. This wouldn't be a big deal except that I have JNDI DataSources named within it and the Web App wont run without them.
I've set up a Run Config. with Tomcat 5.5.17 which will start up just fine. I also have Web module set to be deployed. It doesn't matter if I have the Deployment Source set as the exploded war or the war file itself, neither works. I also have the Tomcat Context Descriptor included under the Deployment Descriptors list for the Web facet.
One of the big things I don't understand is why I am able to change the Application context even though the Tomcat Descriptor is part of the facet.
I'm really frustrated by this since it works out-of-the-box with both Eclipse and NetBeans.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
