EJB support in 896 - what's (not) working
Hi all,
I don't have any EJBs in my current project, so I cannot test this out, but
what exactly is not working in the EJB support in the latest builds? I now
it says not supported, but does that mean the EJB stuff is not working at
all or just that some things might not behave as expected?
I might have to work on a project that has some in the near future and I'd
hate to have to go back to an Ariadna build in order to use them (not to say
Ariadna builds are not good, it's just that I got so used to some features
we got in Aurora :).
TIA,
Andrei

a couple builds back, the ejb guis popped up, but never saved anything..just silently exited. so...its not usable to create or modify your bean properties, make DTO's, etc. it recognized my ejb-jar.xml, and the ejb's did show up in the EJB panel. dunno about anythying else.
i'm eagerly awaiting this as i pretty much have to use ariadna until this Aurora ejb support is back.

Also, it doesn't handle refactoring of ejb code. It tries, but fails
miserably with internal exceptions.

EJB support now is relying heavily on the new Aurora multi-module capabilities that are not ready yet.
Please wait for a couple of builds when things get into shape.
