Initialize intellij global variable

hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to define a global variable in intellij and use it as $MYVARIABLE$ in area like the definition of the path to fetch a jar.
For example, I could have a project using jars in a view on M:\My_dev_view and, want to try others versions of these jars on M:\My_view whitout creating a new project and set everything again.

Thanks

Franck

How about use different mappings toward your m:/ ?

I don't get it.

I took 2 view on M but it could be 1 on M and 1 on N.

Share both directories "dev_view" and "view" view "net share ...".
Than mount it to yourself (same as you connect to a foreign machine: net use ...). So you can switch between map x: to
your_machine\dev_view or
your_machine\view without changing the project file. I'm not sure if it works without closing the project, but this might be a smaller issue.

Hope it helps.
