Form builder: how to ensure buttons of equal width?

The look and feel guidelines force to make OK/Cancel buttons equal wide (see attached simple layout). How to do it with the form builder?

Hello!

The current version does not allow to make cells of the same size.

Sure we are going to implement grids with cells of same size. At this moment
we do not know use cases other than that one with dialog buttons.
We can implement it in different ways:

1. User can mark all rows(or columns) to be equal height(width) - like Swing
GridLayout
2. The same but spacers can change their sizes. So buttons in example will
be of the same (minimum possible) width, and spacer will grow or collapse.
3. User can choose particular cells to be same sized.

In our opinion, the case 2 should cover all the real needs and will be very
easy to use.

What do you think?

And one more word :)

BTW, are JetBrains going to provide a possibility for plugging Layouts?
Maybe with some additional coding by IDEA's user's hands?

They said that they would provide a means for implementing custom gui components/layouts. However, back then the fire didn't exactly seem lit under that idea. Frankly, I have zero interest in the GUI builder until I can do with it what I will. I am deathly attached to my layout manager and not being able to use it is like chopping off my legs. No thanks.

We'll probably support in the future ability to plug layouts.
