CVS: keyword substitution and ssh-add

I mistakenly added java files with keyword substitution off. Is there a way to "globally" change that using IntelliJ? Could it change it on a commit? (or doesn't Cvs allow to do this?)

I use the :ext: method for cvs. Does it still work? Should I change something? Now, when I want to do checkout-project, it says "wrong method :" and nothing more. Funny thing, if I rebooted my pc, when trying to commit, I got nothing but a query on the command line (because I always start Intellij from the command line), to ask for my cvs password. Whatever I type, it doesn't work. But if I use ssh-add (which I don't know what it does, I just saw it once in the forums), I can do normal cvs operations.
What should I do for that?

Right now IDEA does not provide the way to change keyword substitution but
cvs allows this (with admin command). You can post feature request.

Ext method works (using private key file for authentication).
