CVS question

How do you start using CVS with files that have already been checked out?

Do you have to check them all back in, then check out the whole project again?

I have the same problem.
With Ariadna I could work with a previously checked out working copy,
but with Aurora I couldn't, I tried different things and didn?t work.

IN Aurora I just open ( or create ) a project in the directory containing
the checked out files, and enable CVS in the project options and
everythings away and laughing....

You don't have to do anything other than just enable CVS as a VCS (for the FBI because the CIA signed an NDA....).

CVS uses the "CVS" directories in your already checked out project to find out things like if a specific file has changed locally, the location of your server and such.

This info is based on you using pserver to communicate with CVS. If you're using ext (through SSH) you may have to adjust some settings in the CVS panel.

Okay. Thanks. Where does it get the info about the servers from though?

.. but is there any way to get it to remember my password? It says 'unrecognized user' each time I try to do something.

Take a look in the CVS directories.

Okay. It appears that it didn't like the format of my .cvspass file.

Can this thing work with multiple servers, or can it only work with one?

What did you mean by "multiple servers"?
Do you use sources under different cvs servers in the one project?
