Mouse problem?

I have a strange problem with the mouse in IDEA.... The scrollwheel doesn't work as expected, or kind of work as expected....
When I scroll down, the editor scroll down... But if I scroll up, the editor scroll up but also displays the context menu (the menu that opens when right-clicking in the editor..)

Is this a known thing and how can I fix this?

btw, the mouse works ok in other java applications...

I discovered that DbVisualizer have the same problem, so it seems to be a java problem, for some java programs... Not sure what they have in common...

I'm having mouse wheel problems right now in an Java app, but it's related to running Windows Vista.

Which OS are you on?

In the future, a little information about your system goes a long way in determining the cause of the problem. :)

I am running Linux (Gentoo AMD 64).... And I agree, I should have included that information... :)

I am having the same problem with Windows Vista.

OS: Windows Vista 64bit RTM
Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000
Mouse Driver: IntelliPoint 6.1 64-bit for Windows Vista
IntelliJ: 6.0.4
Java JDK: 1.5.10

I'm having this problem too.
Vista 32-bit Business, IntelliJ 6.0.5, Java jdk1.6.0_01, MS IntelliMouse 4.

Finally found a solution.

Seems to be a problem with JDK6 coupled with the IntelliMouse driver.

Go to device manage and your mouse. Choose to roll back the driver.

It should go to version 6.0.6000.16386 over-riding the IntelliMouse driver.

Works fine.
