We propose a new feature for IDEA. This could reduce the number of errors/bugs caused by *cut-and-paste *operation. The point is that very often programmers forget to edit the pasted block of code what makes it a source multiple errors.
Possible solution is to make this IDE "remember" the pasted block by highlighting it somehow (for example, by slightly changing its background). The programmer will have to "approve" the block (for example, through context menu) in order to remove the highlighting. Also it would be good to show warnings during compilation, or to display the links to these blocks in TODO list. It would be possible to provide switching off this feature from the program settings, as well as to allow developer to define the number of the code lines beginning from which the feature will work.
