Inspection Warnings

In version 833 I now get warnings in my files for inspection errors. These
errors include issues such as "parameter xyz can have final modifier"

How do I turn these warnings off? Some of my files have become one big
warning :-).

Thanks,

Here's a workaround:

Run the inspection tool for a file and uncheck all the inspections that
correspond to unwanted warnings (try with only the unused declaration
inspection checked, for instance). This will save that config in the iws
file and the inspections will not be performed for the edited files anymore.

You might have to restart IDEA after that (it might work without restarting,
I haven't tried though).

HTH,
Andrei

OK I'm going to answer my own question...

If you rerun the inspection tool and remove the search for errors such as
the one I mentioned. These parameters will then be saved as to what errors
to flag.

Then if you restart IDEA it will not flag those as warnings.

You do not have to restart. You actually do not have to run inspection.
Just open inspect code dialog, uncheck what you do not want to see and press
cancel. We're working at more obvious configuration at the moment.

Hmm, doesn't this violate the OK/Cancel paradigm?

Sure it does... It's gonna change soon.
