Alt+1 from keypromoter does not work

When I muse click on the Project tab a big KeyPromoter pop up show Alt+1 and clicking on the Structure tab I get Alt+2.
But when I use those keyboard shortcuts, it does not open the coresponding tabs as advertized.

Keymap > Filter key stroke > Alt+1 does not show any actions.

How can I fix that?  Thanks

Hi there,

Possibly in your Keymap the shortcuts for those tool windows are different.

Please check what shortcuts you have got for:

  • View | Tool Windows | Project
  • View | Tool Windows | Structure


If you are on Mac then it should be Cmd instead of Alt.

Als .. on Mac it seems to still promote Windows keys (as per commenst on plugin page at https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/4455?pr=phpStorm )

Hmm. Maybe your OS / UI theme does not show them in the menu...

In any case: you can check existing and assign custom shortcut if needed at "Settings/Preferences | Keymap":

After I configured Alt+1 in the keymap it appeared back in the menu item. Thank you.
