Project Name in URL - Referencing Problem - How to fix it?

The webstorm server places my project name in the URL. Yet when I reference a file to the root, the root is the server-root, and not the project root. Is there a way to turn this off?

I found the document below, I followed the steps by Vladimir Krivosheev, but it did not work.

Thank you.

Hi there,

Solution definitely works -- you must be doing something wrong or the steps you have taken are incomplete.

Here are the few (just a few from many) SO answers for the similar question:

Hello,

Do I have to edit the host file when I work on a different project?

Thanks,

1 entry per project -- every project where you will be using such approach requires separate entry in hosts file.

And the IP address stays the same?

Hello,

Do I use the dialog box in the attached graphics? If so, what type, and what name? Thanks.

Entry of "In Place" type (no file copying will be happening) should be fine in almost all cases.
