cvs: easy update view?

Does the new cvs plugin have an easy way to view
file status? Specifically, in 3.x you could:

1. Use the cvs view to easily see all the files currently
modified in your project.
2. Delete any of those files and update that directory
from the cvs view to delete unwanted changes.

Thanks,

Check in project does this more or less [problem: with aurora upgrades cvs
is losing the changed files list when upgrading: check in says there's
nothing to commit. You can still commit by "hand" -> from the menu].

2. Delete any of those files and update that directory

There's no easy way of doing this now. Or maybe there is, there's an option
in the new cvs: show update dialog that I haven't tried yet. You can try
deleting the files in explorer and then doing a cvs update.

Take care because the new cvs is more proactive than the old: it auto
adds/deletes files/dirs without asking/confirming. You have a little control
in the commit/check in phase.

Deleting a file from the project explorer removes it from the cvs repository
as well. Even with the old integration, a cleaner way to overwrite the
local copies was to add -C to the list of additional parameters (cvs update
-C).

Try, instead, check-out from repository (not check-out project, the other
check-out option). It overwrites the file (directory structure) it's
invoked on (does a cvs update -C).

It does'nt work for me. The checkout doesn't 'update -C' the file.
Is this a bug?
