IntelliJ 6.0 and Tomcat 5.5, how to deploy?

i'm kinda new to J2EE, and would like to use IDEA as my environment, but can't seem to get the two to behave together.

i've managed to get it to deploy, somewhat.. i created a .jsp file in the 'src' folder of my project, and after i deploy, i can't seem to find where that file is deployed to. i think this is the only thing that is stopping me right now.

can anyone help me get this working properly, and if possible, point to some good resources to learn JSP and J2EE in general?

I really appreciate any help i receive, thank you.

jsp should be placed in web resources directory of the Web module.

ok, i did that, and i now see the file where its supposed to be, but when mozilla opens, i get a 404 error. i have the file being deployed to /var/lib/tomcat5.5/webapps/ROOT, which should be "http://localhost:8180/" am i wrong with this assumption? if so, where should i be deploying the files to so that they will work with tomcat?

By default, browser opens default web context page and (unless you added
jsp like index.jsp) the browser gives 404 for it.
You need to point the browser to added jsp like (for foo.jsp)
localhost:8180/foo.jsp

Btw, default TomCat port is 8080 (unless you intentionally modify it :)
