how to cancel hightlight

When I use "Highlight Usages in File", usages will be hightlighted.
But how can I cancel hightlight?
If I hightlight another usages, the previous hightlighted usages will not be cancel.
I have to close the file and open it, and the hightlight will be cancel.
Is there any function for canceling hightlight or it is a bug?
If I select one word, I can use "Highlight Usages in File".
