[Aurora] Eclipse Plugin?

Is anyone aware of an Eclipse Plugin for IDEA? I searched the net and
didn't really find anything.

Thanks,

Well, there's a TogetherSoft ControlCenter plugin for Eclipse that allows
one use ControlCenter's modeling from within Eclipse. I was thinking of
some kind of plugin that replaced (or supplemented) the standard Java editor
in Eclipse with IntelliJ's editor. Maybe the concept doesn't work out, but
it was a thought.

Are you trying to prompt eclise in IntelliJ forum or what? When you have
IDEA around, there is no excuse to use Eclipse any more. I just tried to
optimize imports of 400 java files and beleive it or not, it was about
20 times or even more slower than IDEA.

Keep up the good work guys, IDEA just rocks.

Let me translate what hes getting at, as i see it.

He wishes there was a togethersoft plugin for IDEA like there is for eclipse, but there isnt, so hes wondering if there was any way to somehow load the eclipse version in IDEA, or some such idea.

I don't think this is that difficult to understand. I'm still learning how
to write plugins, so it's hard to tell what kind of effort this would
require. The Eclipse Java editor is rather weak compared with IntelliJ's
(aren't all of them?). However, there are some other features of Eclipse,
especially in WSAD (IBM's enhanced version of Eclipse), that provide
integration with other products (WebSphere, databases, XML tools, etc.). If
you could put the outstanding IntelliJ editor into Eclipse, you would have a
remarkable product.

Like I said, though, I'm just learning how to write plugins for Eclipse, so
it's possible that this would be no simple undertaking. Eclipse is written
using SWT/JFace instead of Swing, so I don't know how the two different APIs
would "play" together.

They wont play together at all, from what i recall reading there is no support or really bad support for putting in non swt entities through the plugin architecture of eclipse.
