Fixing a dontfix?

I noticed a bug with the way that the JavaDoc inspection worked, so I
filed a report. It got marked as a Duplicate of a "dontfix" - but it's
definitely a bug (IMHO). How do I go about generating some dialogue and
getting it fixed? I assume that the bugs forum consists of
auto-generated postings so nobody actually reads it ...

Robert,

there's a quite a long discusson on 7564. Have you read it? Do you have any
additional considerations? Did you post them?
Do you find your problem is not the same?
Tracker bug status is not somewhat final. It could change as additional
important info arises.

Maxim,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I posted my comments, which boil down to "I
want a way to see only the errors that JavaDoc is going to throw up".
This is especially useful for existing code which may have many errors
in otherwise useful comments that are not worth fixing because JavaDoc
will never see them.

I want to be a good citizen, so if this isn't the place to discuss it I
can just post comments in the bug - but I wanted to make sure they would
be read!

PS For what it's worth, I'm very impressed with JetBrains' reaction
times - issues tracked down and fixed or palmed over to Sun very
quickly! Software delivery the way it should be ...

Yes, these pages indicating the status seem to be autogenerated. But if you
post a comment it can be scary how fast you can get a response from them. I
guess the person responsible for each bug is watching them as a topic so
he'll get an e-mail whenever somebody adds a comment.

Yep, this is the way it works :)
