open multiple files?

Answered

Hrm, just came across this, if you select multiple files, I cant find a way to open them all up in editors. I tried, double clicking while all selected, nothing happened.

There is a context menu to compile selected files, but not edit them.

Am i missing a way to do this?

The Workspaces plugin
(http://www.intellij.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/WorkspacesPlugin) may help a
little, but the short answer is no.

You might, however, add your votes to:

http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=9371
http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/viewSCR?publicId=6309

(9371 appears to be a superset of 6309)

The links for voting for this feature does not work any more.

Try selecting multiple files in the Project view and hitting Enter or F4 - they should be opened in the editor simultaneously.
