Synchronization with filesystem not working

Hi,

has anybody had the same experience i have now and does know the
solution.

Until recently IDEA was working fine for me, but no i had to discover
that IDEA is not picking up any changes in the file system. When adding
new directories and files from outside IDEA they are not shown in the
project view and cvs view. Even pressing the synchronize with filesystem
button does not seem to help.

The same is true when working with cvs. IDEA does not recognize when
a cvs command is executed and therefore does not show the changes in the
cvs view.

This makes IDEA almost unusable.

Environment:
Win2k
IDEA 688 (3.0 has the same effect)

If noone can give any advice i will file this as a bug in the afternoon.

Did you change the way you invoke idea?

I add
-Djava.library.path=L:
idea301
bin
to the
lax.nl.java.option.additional=
line in my idea.lax. I do it to help java find the .dll that does
file sync.

Maybe this would help you?

I don't know about this.
