Waiting for localhost...

I've started a project, and it was running OK, but now when I click the green button, my Browser (chrome) shows a status message "Waiting for localhost...", and I can't figure yout how to stop/restart the server.

Settings > Languages & Framework > PHP
- PHP Language Level 5.3
- Interpreter, PHP Executable: C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-DevServer-14.1VC11\binaries\php\php_runningversion\php.exe

ie. I'm using EasyPHP 14.1 which I can start/stop manually.
Running on Windows 7

Sorry, I'm a programming newbie.

Hi there,

What URL it uses? Is it built-in simple web server ("localhost:63342/Project_Name/file.php" kind of URLs) or your own web server?

If first -- then by restarting IDE or maybe killig that php.exe via Task Manager (ATM there is no controls to do it from within IDE)
If second -- by shutting down your web server (which you can do already) -- IDE has no control over it.

URL: http://localhost:63342/project_name/index.php
I guesss this suggests the simple web server.

I was able to restart PHP as you suggested, going to Task Manager, looking for php-cgi.exe (CGI/FastCGI), and ending the process. Thank you.

I though I had phpStorm to configured to use EasyPHP.

Settings | Build, Execution, Deployment | Deployment -- make sure you have correctly configured your deployment entry and marked it as Default for current project, otherwise IDE will use built-in server when opening files in browser.
