string escape character field for file type syntax highlighting

Hi,

I lack an option for specifying escape characters in the file type edit window. eg. I would like javascript to show this line right:

var hiddenField = "]]>";

I would like to be able to say escape " with \

anyone else noticed this problem?
should I request it as feature or is there help?
