Fabrique-like graphical BOM-editor

What I really liked with Fabrique was the excellent business object model
(BOM) editor. Is something like that planned for EAP Demetra or a separate
plug-in? Or exist somthing similar from a 3rd party?

Tom,

Which framework would you like to use it for? EJB? Hibernate? EJB3? Spring?

IMHO none. It should be framework independent, so just an ER diagram editor.
Than do some OpenAPI for it so that everyone can plug it's own beloved framework.
Eventually a default example implementation with that OpenAPI could be EJB since it's the standard.

Well, I'm completely new to this stuff and I just have played a little bit
with Hibernate. Nevertheless, Ahmed's suggestion seems to be the best choice.

This question makes me salivate like a dog.

I like your suggestion. However, I think they should provide an
implementation for EJB3 since it is the standard.

Short answer: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Longer answer:
I think by the time Demetra is finished EJB3 will be the most important one,
even more so because it is the same as Hibernate Annotations stand-alone.

At least support the regular Hibernate 3.0 XML format.

A lot of teams I'v visited have doubts about usage of annotations, or will be on JDK 1.4 for at least a year.
