Web Module directory disappears from view

Idea 5.0.2; Win XP; Web Module:
- create directory in the module
- Modules -> Libraries; add above directory to module libraries

During build directory content is correctly copied to
exploded/WEB-INF/classes
However directory itself disappears from project view.
Looks like a bug, unless somebody has an explanation for this behavior.
Is there a workaround? I want to be able to easily access files from
this directory (from Project View).
