LiveEdit: System extension cannot be used

I encounter the following error when choosing the "inspect element in PHPStorm" context menu in Chrome with the JetBrains IDE Chrome extension:



In addition, changes are not reloaded at all (just debugging simple HTML file), though I can see the scripts that are being loaded in the app:



I am currently running a Hakintosh, with the AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext customized to always "show" an ethernet is hooked up and I can use my WiFi adpater on my machine.  Is this the cause of the problem?  Why would the AppleUSBEthernet adapter be needed for this extension?  OS 10.8.5
