Slow node.js debugger

Hi,

Ever since I have upgraded to WebStorm 7 (and now 8) debugging in node.js became quite impossible.
The debugger is very slow, by slow I mean that hitting F10 (step over) is taking anywhere between 600-1000 milliseconds.
Debugging Javascript in web-projects (js in the browser using Jetbrains chrome extension) is working great.

I would really appreciate any help with that.
