Starting IDEA With Project Name

I have several projects I am working, each is quite large and takes some time to load in IDEA (5.0).

Currently, when I launch IDEA is opens up the last project I was working in which may not be the project I want to work in. But, I have to wait for it to load, then I have to Reopen the project that I really want to work in, again waiting for it to load.

Is there any way to pass the name of the project I want to the idea.exe so that it can directly open that project? This way I could have separate Windows shortcuts for each of my projects and open them directly.

Thanks.

I don't think this is possible, but you can disable "Reopen last project on
startup" in General tab of preferences, and then you can see the nice welcome
screen every day.

Just double-click the .ipr project file and IDEA will start and open
that project.

This assumes that you said "yes" to the question "associate IDEA with
.ipr files" in the installer, and that IDEA isn't already running
(because then it'll just complain about not being able to start two
instances concurrently).
