Eclipse users want "IDEA style" inspections too
Inspection Gadgets currently contains 511 inspections, and IDEA also has a number of built in inspections. Eclipse has about 30?

Do you think they are jealous?

I'm actually kind of surprised this hasn't occurred sooner. It'd be jood for the industry, but probably not so good for JetBrains, as they'd lose a major distinguishing chunk of functionality.

Must be Inspection Envy.
They are not, i guess.
They just not understand how IDE can inspect. Eclipse IDE is not smart IDE, so it may not have brains at all :)
Such plugin for Eclipse will cost more than whole IDEA
Instantiations CodePro AnalytiX probably comes closest to IDEA's level of inspections for $899.

(for that amount you get a bunch of other intesting stuff too)
