Xdebug and PHPUnit config in default settings

Hi all,

I'm using phpStorm 7.1 and I'm quite satisfied. Only one thing is a little bit disturbing, even if I think, it can be resolved.

I try to configure xdebug in the "Default Settings" section by adding several (local) Hosts (PHP-> Servers) and add my PHPUnit settings (PHP -> PHPUnit). For PHPUnit I select a phpunit.phar on my c: drive (that is out of any Project) and also the phpunit.xml and unit.php, which I stored on c:

If I use the same settings for Project Settings I can debug my Project(s), but if I do them in Default Settings I cannot do that.

Is there any possibility, perhaps even to not configure each host to debug and just debug any localhost? In my case, I have e.g. myproject.local as which points to c:\htdocs\MyProject\ and anotherproject.local which points to c:\htdocs\AnotherProject. Do I really have to configure all those hosts in the Servers settings section? For Eclipse PDT I could configure this globally and host independent - but I didn't like Eclipse PDT at all... ;)

Thanks and best wishes,

Dirk

PS: If you need any additional information please just tell me.

Hi there,

"File | Default Settings" is for brand new projects only -- all settings here will be copied into project settings for newly created projects -- they do not affect existing projects in any way.

Hi Andriy,

ah, I see. Thanks for your fast reponse. Perhaps you (or someone else) can also answer me, if I can add a "host wildcard" for all hosts on my computer to be listened to?

Thanks and best wishes,

Dirk

Unfortunately no -- it has to be precise name.
