idea 5.0 compiler honor dependencies Follow

This option controls what happens when you right-click a file or set of files
and choose "Compile" for just those files - if it's enabled, then all dependent
files will be recompiled. If it's disabled, only those files will be compiled.

It's probably not affecting how many errors your project has.
