We have a company standard that EJB names are the same as the JNDI name for the EJB. This means that the ejb-name has dots, which I believe is fine according to the EJB spec. We're trying to start using Idea's EJB support, but I find that the wizard won't let us create an ejb-name with dots. Is there something I'm missing in the spec that forbids them, or is this an arbitrary decision or a bug? What other characters aren't permitted in the ejb-name?
