Personal Discount License Question
Does anyone from Jetbrains know if they will be offering the special discount for a personal license that they have done for the past couple years around this time? I am hoping they do so the IDE can reasonably get on my Xmas list!! :)

Of course not it's difficult times now, and EAPers not so active. That's why I suggest don't offer discount this year.

yup, I hope that too. I am only developer at my company using Idea (yeah they are using famouse nature phenomenon), and I had to buy my licence myself. Hopefully I can renew it this xmas with some discount.

yes, I have perconal licence for idea 3/4:
I bought idea 3 licence at xmas time shortly before version 4 was launched, so I had free upgrade to v4.
Right now there's no such a deal yet (buy licence for v4 and get free upgrade for v5), because release date of version 5 is not announced yet..

Ooh, sorry, I thought you had a normal license -- yes, you cannot get any
discounts on upgrades with a Personal License ...

They will probably have an Easter special on v4.5 personal licenses with the v5 upgrade included since that will be closer to the time. They offered v4 as a personal license this Easter just gone and the timing would seem much more in tune with when v5 is expected to be released.
