Translate shortcuts (with command key) from Mac to Windows (in Windows)

Hi,
I know a shortcut for Mac (command + Y), but I'm using Windows. Thus I want to know the equivalent shortcut. Unfortunately I cann't press command key in Windows to get a translation in Webstorm > Settings > KeyMap. Is there any work around (in general)?

Hi there,

Well ... you can switch to Mac keymap (Mac OS X 10.5+ .. or Mac OS X) in "Settings | Keymap" and visually find that action.

Also: if you know what that action does in Mac (command + Y) then maybe you can find it by it's name?

P.S.
The "Mac OS X 10.5" keymap should use similar shortcuts to the native Mac OS while "Mac OS X" keymap should be translation of "Default" keymap on Mac keyboards.

Based on the above your "command + Y" could be "Delete Line" action.

Thanks for your help.
ctrl + Y is "delete line at caret" and is not the equivalent in Windows.
command + Y is used in this video at 25:17 and shows a file-preview:

This shortcut is used with "go to file":

Mac: command + shift + O

Windows: ctrl + shift + N

I searched for "preview" in keymap, but coudln't find the right action. Overflying the whole keymap isn't really efficient so.

Thanks for explanation/video -- it's clear now what action you are after.

View | Quick Definition (Ctrl+Shift+I)

P.S.
Accordingly to the keymap it actually reads as "Meta + Y"
